Description

Do you want to see the Rings of the Planet Saturn? This tour includes the latest Astronomy Equipment to help you get the most out of your stargazing experience. With powerful telescopes and astro binoculars, come see the planets and moon in greater detail.

The Pinnacles Desert is well renowned for it's unique landscape and dark skies. As well as providing equipment for your stargazing experience, you will also get to learn about Aboriginal Astronomy and hear Dreamtime stories of the night sky. The Australian Aborigines are considered to be the world's first astronomers.

The tour runs all year round, the night sky changes throughout the seasons and although it is a bit colder, autumn, winter and spring are some of the best times of the year to see the Milky Way and Planets in the Southern Hemisphere.

While you wait for the stars and planets to appear, enjoy a traditional Australian Barbeque Dinner with a glass of Australian wine as you watch the sun set over the Indian Ocean.
